OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — A miscommunication led an Oklahoma group to accidentally purchase a hockey team instead of what they thought was going to be a large shipment of dank ass indica.
On Tuesday, the team announced that The Chill was sold to Oklahoma City Hockey Club, LLC (OCHC).
“I understand how it could have made sense,” OCHC President Donnie Blackburn said. “We are a hockey club, but… a team wasn’t what I was looking to buy…”
The sale of the team unfortunately is final, so Blackburn will have to go ahead with adding the new team to the 2020-2021 schedule.
“I already have the Tulsa Tweakers and the Oklahoma City Bombers to manage on my own, so adding in another one for me is going to be stressful,” he said. “Is ‘The La Crosse Showtime’ a type of weed? If so, put me down for an eighth, three pens and an edible please.”
